“People ask me if this writing is charging my batteries and I say: ‘No. It’s sucking the life right out of me.’ Fortunately, because of my spiritual connection and physical well being, I have a lot to give. The other side of the coin is that I am happy and very much at peace with myself and the world around me. This chance to take a hard look at my life has not been wasted on me and I have learned so much. To have and seize the opportunity to look back and reflect on all the wonderful people who crossed my path, all the beautiful places that I’ve been and to recount for you the adventures that wove the two together! I feel totally blessed that I am able to share this with you.

What people are saying about Bob Tuff's books....
This book [31 Lives] is more interesting than the average memoir, partly because the author had such a variety of life experiences, and partly because the writing is so honest & engaging. Highly recommended. I hope we will hear more from this author.
I am so thrilled with the book!!! It is funny, sad, captivating, and written in a way that is easy to visualize the story as you write it. Just the way I like it.
I sat down to read the first 10 pages and ended up reading the first 10 chapters! I find your book a great read. I love the fact that I know the author. I mean I've chatted with you a few times and said “hi” over the fence. It's fun for me to read your words and be able to visualize you saying them. You're a good writer. Your words made me see the story. I saw the landscapes, the people, the different countries and your
It's a WINNER - I haven't been able to put it down. Really - Dan brought it by three days ago and I'm on Page 441 as we speak. It is very moving. I could go on and on as befits 90 year-olds but I'll spare you. But thank you and congratulations. Carry On!
I finished your book last week and couldn't put it down. I laughed and I cried as memories came flooding back! What an emotional trip. Thanks for that! Your sense of recall is incredible. And you really know how to keep a person’s interest. Ever thought about writing some fiction? All the best as you enter phase #32,
I finished reading your book last night and loved it! Once I started, I could not put it down! Your book is full of compassion, humor, sweetness, love, adventure, and suspense. It is genuine, and original, and leaves me wanting more. Thank you for writing your book. I can't wait to see what happens in your next!
I finished Bobby's book today, and I want to thank you for the gift of your son. His life is a remarkable story, and I'm so grateful for his willingness to share it. It certainly is a moving testimony to God's grace, mercy, and providence.
Having finished your book, I will be passing it off to the first of several teen agers. It is the equivalent of Soul Food literature for me. I get an introspective look at my own life, and quite remarkably, a very calming reaction to the prose. I'm not sure where these responses come from, however I view them as quite welcome and positive in nature. Thank you. The Veteran/Ministry interest has to be reassuring for you and is again evidence that this project has taken on it's own life and identity.
What a book! Thanks for the great read. I read it in two sittings. It's riveting, wonderfully entertaining and educational - filling in some blanks for me. You have a great narrative style. You've inspired me to start writing. I'm amazed not only by your great writing skills but by your colorful adventures and travels.
